Templeton Farm Annual Beef Sale

We hope you enjoyed your summer. The cooler, wet weather was perfect for growing lush, green grass that our herd loves. We also are renovating our 32-year old sugar house. The expansion will make room for a more energy-efficient evaporator, allowing us to ultimately make more of that sweet, liquid gold. However, the biggest news at Templeton Farm is that I am going to be a grandfather. Natalie and Seth are expecting twin girls who will arrive sometime in October. These young gals will be 9th generation descendants of Templeton Farm. This is news so big that even the cows are excited!

Speaking of cows, I’m writing to remind you about our Annual Fall Beef Sale. Stock up your freezer for the winter with delicious grass-fed beef from Templeton Farm. We want to make this as affordable as possible for you—we are holding our prices again this year at $5.25/pound for half a cow! For those of you with smaller freezers or appetites, we also sell 30 pound boxes for $250 and 50 pound boxes for $410. Thank you to those who have ordered already.

Details:

  • There are two pickups this year: September and November. If you want to pick up in September in Vermont, your order and deposit must be received no later than September 8. If you prefer to pick up in November, please send your order and $350 deposit by September 25. I will send you an email to confirm your pick up date and time.
  • The price for halves this year is $5.25/pound. In light of the rapidly increasing prices of locally-produced grass fed beef, this is an incredible deal for you. Templeton Farm does not use animal by products, growth hormones, antibiotics or artificial additives of any kind. Our cattle are humanely raised and will actually follow us around in our pastures. They know they are well cared for.
  • Beef pickup for Vermont customers will be at the usual location: 3410 Center Road, East Montpelier.
  • We will make a beef delivery to Norwood, MA on Saturday, November 11 at 11am (that’s easy to remember…11-11-17 at 11am!) at Cross Fit Florian, 50 Central Street. If you would like to pick up in MA, please contact us for additional information.
  • Our own Vermont Maple Syrup will be available for sale at pick up. We sell by the gallon, half gallon, quart and pint.
