Welcome to Templeton Farm

Family Owned & Operated Since 1810 — Maple Syrup & Grass-fed Beef

Our Mission

Our 150-acre family farm located in East Montpelier, Vermont, just 6 miles from the Vermont State Capital, has been in operation since 1810. For nine succeeding generations, our family has operated a variety of agricultural enterprises including maple, sheep, dairy and beef. It is our family’s mission to continue our family’s legacy through maple sugaring, regenerative land practices and rotational grazing of our beef cattle.

We strive to produce healthy, hormone-free, grass-fed and grass-finished natural beef humanly raised in pastures for our community. With our 4,000 taps, our farm produces nearly 2,000 gallons of maple syrup each season. Whether we are boiling sap, moving cows, or stocking our farm store, we take pride in bringing together our 7th, 8th, and 9th generations of family and friends through farming.
